Katia Von Kral is the archetype of a 21st century artist. Kral broke the mold by resurrecting the love and dedication to her trait as the artists of past generations, but has fused her creativity and talent into various areas finding commercial success in corporate and private markets.
This creative genius specializes in a variety of areas: decorative and faux finishes, murals, reproductions, and original artwork. Her work has found its way into hotels, restaurants, clubs, and private homes. As a seasoned veteran with 12 years experience, Kral has had the opportunity to work with renowned interior designers and artistic companies.
Her custom murals bring life to any wall and she continues to produce original canvas artwork. Kral pays amazing detail to her client's requests. She starts the process with a work-up sketch tailored to her client's needs and expects the finished product to exceed her customer's expectation.
Having a natural talent for art, Kral pursued her childhood ambition and began to study art at Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego) and finished at Arizona State University in Tempe, graduating with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Although, her education began before college when at 17 she began training under Trina Noel and Co, a group of talented artists in Scottsdale, AZ, to begin her rise to the artist she is today.
Kral has worked for many corporate clients, including projects at Google corporate headquarters and Pulte corporate headquarters. She has also done countless projects in residential homes. Even though she has an impressive portfolio Kral feels her dedication to art is her greatest achievement, "Surviving as an artist has been my greatest accomplishment, I was determined not to give up. I have stayed fully committed to my work and it has paid off, "said Kral.
Her work has been displayed in the Arizona Republic, Phoenix Home and Garden magazine, and Fountain Hills Times magazine. In August Kral?s work will be featured n the Guild Hall Museum, Hamptons, NY.
